If I were not afraid of anything, that would be really cool. Not being afraid of anything would change who I am in a good way. I wouldn’t have to worry about anything at all, and I could do crazy things without even caring. If I were not afraid, I would go parachuting and bungee jumping, and a lot of other crazy stuff. Since I want to work with animals when I grow up this would really help me get closer to them knowing that I’m not afraid. It would definitely improve the chances of me getting that type of career. I would really have to use my common sense about what it crossing the line. The bad thing about being not afraid, is not knowing what is really dangerous, and maybe getting hurt beacuase you took a chance no other normal person would take. That is why I need common sense. Chris Angel is a good example. He is known as “mind freak” on T.V., and he does crazy stuff no other person would dare attempt. He doesn’t rally have too much common sense, and one time he may go too far and end his career, or possibly his life. That is what I would do if I were not afraid.
Archive for September, 2007I think that considering the facts that students take classes on not taking drugs, and the fact that their parents are supposed to teach them, that students taking extra-curricular activities should not be tested for drugs. The whole point of extra-curricular activities is to keep kids away from that stuff, so if they get tested and they have drugs in their body, then they would be removed from the activity. This would only make their drug problem worse. If a student is taking a drug, they might not even care if they get kicked out of the class, and just have more time for drugs. That’s why they should not do this, and if they do, they should find a different approach on what to do if they have drugs in their body. It should be a way that will not cause them to do more drugs. I think the most important amendment is the freedom of religion. I think it is the most sacred and important to people. It is one of many things that people really should have a right to choose from. People shouldn’t be stripped of that right. If they come from another country and all they know is their religion, many people would become angry and riot. It is probably the most personal amendment of them all, and there really isn’t a reason for taking the right to choose your religion from another person or group of people. That is, in my opinion, the most important amendment and my reasons why. The evil hostess cakes: It was a normal day at school, and we were all having lunch. We all opened our lunches to see what had been packed for us by our parents. I was sitting with some of my friends, and we were about halfway through lunch when, all of a sudden, it happened. One of my friends looks at his hostess cakes and sees something really quite disturbing. They were maggots. The package was completely wrapped, but they still were somehow in their. They were also not expired. So from after that day I never had another one of those hostess cakes with the cream filling and the frosting swirl on top of it. I think sbug232 has the best posts and that Luap03 leaves good comments. Dad- My dad did a lot of sports and went to the movies. He said he didn’t have cable, and you had to get up to change the channel. He said that they also didn’t have any of the handheld stuff that we have today. He spent a lot of time outside, especially playing football. Mom- My mom said that she did almost everything outside, and she played a lot of games with kids in her neighborhood. They rode bikes a lot, and pretty much everything was outdoors. She played house when she was inside, because she had a desk and a chalkboard that she would use. Uncle- My uncle did pretty much all the same things as my mom and my dad. He said that if we didn’t have computers, we would probably be outside a lot more often than we are right now. He played a lot of different games, some which they just made up, and would have a lot of fun with all of his friends.

25 Basic Styles of Blogging ( Survey Blogging)Posted by: footballkid5410 in 25 blog stylesMy open question( from one of Mr.Bogush’s lessons): Do you think teaching kids with computers is a good idea?Explain why or why not. This question was worked off of one of Mr.Bogush’s classes last week. Please leave a comment with your answer If I had a wish for any other person besides myself, it would probably be for my house to have an in-law apartment, so my grandma could move into my house and not have to live by herself. On the day of September 11th, 2001, I was in my second grade class. When they found out, our teachers told us what had happened. Most of the class had no idea what it all meant. I didn’t completely understand what had happened until about 5th grade. My initial thoughts were just that there was an accident in New York, and people were hurt. At that point I didn’t know that much about the outside world, and what goes on. I watched T.V. when I got home, and understood a little better what went on, but still was missing the whole point. School that day, and the next went by pretty slow. Now I completely understand about it, and have completely different thoughts. I just never realized how bad it really was. Now that I know everything that happened, it is a bigger deal. Those are my thoughts on September 11th. |
